About Clement

Clement Hayes founded Block45 Legal with the vision of being a partner to his clients throughout their legal journey. While keeping an eye on the big picture, his services ensure that legal obstacles do not stand in the way of business growth and success. His breadth of experience allows him to maximize value and provide innovative yet realistic solutions to any legal challenge facing businesses of any size.

Clement graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Biology, beginning his career as a biologist and counselor. During law school, Clement was the Editor in Chief of St. Mary’s law review and served as an intern for the Honorable Edward C. Prado of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He expanded his expertise through top-tier clerkships at King & Wood and Messner Reeves, awarding him the opportunity to manage the intellectual property portfolio of a fortune 200 company.

His primary focus is intellectual property, and he has a passion for mentoring future generations of attorneys. He is a regular speaker at local and national conferences on intellectual property, as well as a long-standing member of the American Intellectual Property Association (AIPLA).

In his spare time, Clement values spending time with his family or engaging with his community. The Hayes family are Colorado natives and enjoy hiking, travel, Polo, and entertaining.
